ENERO FURNIZARE, the Romanian energy trader & developer has formally announced it had received the connection approval of its first solar project 71 MW DC/49 MW AC, located in Dolj county, South of Romania. The facility is made up of 120,340 bifacial solar panels and 266 solar inverters. The project is developing on approx. 80 hectares land. The land has a sandy soil which is brighter compared to normal soil and ensures better sunlight reflection effect, optimally for the application of bifacial solar panels.
The project will deliver the clean energy to the national grid starting with December 2023. The ENERO company is also developing another five solar projects with more than 400 MWp total power installed, in South of Romania, where the solar irradiation is at least of 1,400 MWh/MWp. At the same time, ENERO is in progress to start the development of other big solar projects, with aggregated power of 600 MWp, to reach 1 GWp solar projects at the end of this year.
